Denmark comes to EURO 2024 with undisguised ambitions. The aim is to get out of the group and qualify for the playoffs.
With players like Kasper Schmeichel, Janiik Vestergaard, Simon Kjaer, Joakim Maehle, Andreas Christensen, Thomas Delaney, Rasmus Hojlund, Christian Eriksen, Kasper Dolberg, Yussuf Poulsen, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the squad, it is no wonder that Denmark is in sight of a playoffs.

The Danes will compete in Group C, which is not the weakest group, with Slovenia, Serbia, and England. The English in this group are the main favourites for first place, while Serbia and Denmark should decide who finishes second.

Three points against the Slovenians would greatly improve their chances of qualifying for the next round, at least as the third-best team in the group. A draw or a defeat against the Slovenians would complicate the situation considerably, and therefore, the odds for a Danish victory are certainly worth enough.
