The Copa America 2024 quarter-finals are about to start. Eight teams continue to fight for the title, and one of the quarter-final matches will be between Brazil, considered favourites before the tournament, and Uruguay, who have been singled out as the only team that can take on Brazil and Argentina.

There is a lot of uncertainty on the Brazilian side. The attacking talent is not making the most of the chances that it is creating, and Vinicius Jr., a potential leader of the team, will not play against Uruguay, having received a second yellow card against Colombia.

Brazil has not shown anything in the group stage, and although they have a more talented squad, Uruguay currently looks better as a team. It is also worth noting that these teams met in a World Cup qualifier a year ago, and Uruguay won 2-0.
